The Lake Festival

The traditional Lake Festival in Varenna takes place the first Saturday of July of each year and follows the San Giovanni Festival, held in Ossuccio the previous weekend.
During the Festival, as well as becoming spectators of the fireworks that are launched directly from the lake, you can attend the historical recalling of the Landing of the Comacina Island. To all this must be added the tasting feast of local dishes prepared at Olivedo Gardens.
Each year, the Lake Festival attracts hundreds of people in Varenna.
